Unsure about DVSA Licence Category?
Students over the age of 24 are automatically put forward for the full, unrestricted 'A' licence, however we do understand some riders may be daunted by the size/weight of full 'A' category models.
With BMW Rider Training, the 'A2' licence option now offers the opportunity to train and complete your test on our smaller, lightweight BMW G 310 R / GS model. With its' learner-friendly controls and approachable seat height, this is particularly popular for shorter or less confident riders.
When making your course booking, you will be asked to provide us with your date of birth and preferred licence category that you'd like to achieve. Rest assured, if the course choice proves unsuitable or inappropriate, we also have the flexibility to assess this with each student individually once the course has commenced, and amend test category if necessary, without additional cost.

Prefer to train on your own?
Upgrade to our 1:1 Direct Access course and you'll have the undivided attention of one of our senior instructors for the duration of the course.
This is ideal for those who may need more assistance during their training, or for those who can't make one of our calendar course dates due to a busier schedule.

Nervous about the tests?
If you've struggled with pre-test anxiety before, then our Guaranteed Pass upgrade is a perfect safety net for you.
This upgrade is a single 'one-off' fee on top of the standard course cost, entitling you to as many additional training days, and test retakes as you need to achieve your licence. You can book with confidence, safe in the knowledge that there will be no further 'hidden costs', even if nerves get in the way of a first time pass.
Under this Guaranteed Pass Upgrade, you'll attend the course dates as initially booked. In the event that a pass is not achieved in these dates, our team will be in touch to arrange your hassle-free return. They'll provide a recommendation for refresher time and suitable DVSA retest dates, arranged on a mutual diary basis once the mandatory waiting time has elapsed.
