Each BMW Rider Training Centre has a range of class-leading BMW models, from the novice-friendly BMW G 310 R to the impressive BMW R 1250 GS. Our fleet is professionally maintained and replaced annually, and equipped with ABS and heated grips to ensure your learning experience is a safe and comfortable one.

BMW G 310 R

A perfect introduction to the BMW range of motorcycles, you'll learn the basics of throttle and clutch control on this model on our innovative Rolling Road before heading out onto our dedicated, private training area. All CBT courses are taught using this model.

The BMW G 310 R is lightweight, with an approachable seat height of just 770mm, which makes it ideal for shorter riders.

F 750 GS

During our Direct Access courses, this energetic model will be yours for the duration of your training and tests. With excellent stability, the BMW F 750 GS is the perfect middle-weight model to complete your full licence training.

With standard seat height (790mm) and low suspension (770mm) models available, we have options for riders of all heights and confidence levels. If you are aged 19 - 24, taking an A2 Direct Access course with us, your F 750 GS will be restricted to 46bhp to comply with A2 licencing regulations.

Advanced Training / Post-test models

R 1250 R

A versatile and dynamic roadster, the BMW R 1250 R is perfect for riders of a sporty predisposition.

With an approachable seat height of just 790mm, the BMW R 1250 R is ideal for less confident riders who want more experience on a larger capacity model, and is frequently used in our bespoke 1:1 training.

R 1250 GS

With it's comfortable, upright stance, enhanced performance thanks to BMW ShiftCam technology and off-road heritage, the BMW R 1250 GS is the most versatile model in our fleet. Handling brilliantly across all terrains, it takes everything in it's stride, making it ideal for commuters, weekend adventurers, and long-distance travellers alike.

With it's low centre of gravity and excellent stability, the BMW R 1250 GS is a good choice for those looking to refresh slow speed control or manual handling techniques as covered in our Road Skills Level 1 Course.

R 1250 RT

When it comes to long distance riding, the BMW R 1250 RT is unrivalled. Enhanced by BMW ShiftCam technology, it delivers a supremely smooth and effortless ride, whether you're taking on mountain passes or just your daily commute.

An excellent choice for those refreshing their skills ahead of a long trip or looking to gain more confidence with slow speed/manual handling techniques, the R 1250 RT benefits from a low centre of gravity and excellent stability that makes it a joy to learn on.
